Mocha Moment

Mocha Moment is located on the south side of town. Known for its cozy feel, the shop resembles a cabin and is located in the middle of the woods, making it the perfect getaway right in town. The “cabin” is complete with cute decor, a fireplace, comfy couches, and a porch you can sit on when the weather is nice. The cafe offers a wide variety of drinks, sandwiches, bakery, and other small snacks at very reasonable prices.  Mocha Moment roasts their own coffee beans and the roaster is also located right in the middle of the seating area, so the entire cafe has a strong smell of freshly roasted coffee.

 

Basics Coffee Shop

Formerly called Loon Lake, the Basics coffee shop offers a variety of coffee, deli items, and smoothies. Their bakery selection features many vegan and gluten-free options and they have a ton of vegan drink options as well. The smoothies and juices are customizable with an assortment of organic fruits, milks, protein powders, and other add-ins. This is a great destination if you’re looking for a healthy and organic option for breakfast and lunch!

 

29 South

29 South offers a full coffee bar, bakery, and a breakfast and lunch menu, which are all homemade. They also offer catering and rent the space out to groups of all sizes. Their menu is full of delicious, fresh made items like quiche, salads, and soups. You can find co-owner Angie there Monday through Saturday from 8am-2pm. My favorite menu item here is the turkey burger with fresh garlic mayo.

 

Bodacious Brew

The atmosphere in here is very hip and modern with plenty of natural light and open seating. They offer a full coffee menu, as well as breakfast and lunch items made fresh. Some of my favorite items are the chai latte, veggie scrambles, and of course, the ice cream! Stop by here during the summer and you’ll find live bands performing on their patio with a riverside view. They also offer a wine bar with cheese pairings on Thursdays and a variety of other events every week. Whether you need a quick cup of coffee, a quiet workspace, or a fun night out, Bodacious Brew has got you covered.
